About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery for a 13-week travel assignment in Atlantic, IA. Assignment: Night - every third weekend Start Date: 5/25/2026 Contract: 13 weeks EMR Used: EPIC Location: Atlantic, IA 50022 OB includes labor & delivery, postpartum, and recovery. These nurses are expected to float to the med-surg floor when there are no obstetric patients. Key Responsibilities: Collaborates with the health care team using evidence-based practice, demonstrating accountability and respect for patients, families, and coworkers, while providing safe, optimal patient outcomes. Promotes continuity of care by communicating effectively with interdisciplinary team and family as appropriate. Directs support staff in the provision of care. Performs general nursing duties using critical thinking skills with minimal supervision. Able to work with the age-specific populations according to the setting. Compensation: Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible) Pay package details provided upon offer

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred.
  • Current Registration and Licensure in the State of Iowa as an RN. Must be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required. New employees certify within three (3) months after their hire date.
  • Current ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications. (New employees should obtain per the guidelines of the Education Course Requirements policy.)
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • High degree of empathetic listening skills, tact, and kindness toward others.
  • Ability to communicate well verbally. Must work effectively as a member of a team.
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Technical and critical thinking skills in relation to sound nursing judgment.
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
