Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a full-time day/night position (36 hours per week) in our Nursing Department for an OB Registered Nurse (RN). Requirements

• Licensed as an RN in Iowa and/or meets the requirements of multi-state licensure.
• ACLS and BLS a plus; certifications are required as an employee.
• Previous OB/Labor & Delivery experience.
• Mandatory Reporter training certificate required as an employee.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality direct care to our inpatients and obstetrics patients.
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal vital signs during labor and delivery using advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic and Cerner.
• Administer medications including pain management options like epidurals and botulinum toxin treatments when appropriate, ensuring precise dosage and patient safety.
• Assist in c-section.
• Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00am - 7:00pm, 7:00pm - 7:00am, 1:00pm-1:00am M-TH, weekend 11:00am-11:00pm).
• Every third weekend, every third holiday and occasional call.
