About The Position

This position is responsible for the following: Provide care and treatment to women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods. Diagnose, treat, and monitor diseases, disorders, and conditions. Prescribe appropriate medications to treat patients in accordance with standardized procedures and company policy. Perform pap smears, pelvic and breast exams. Conduct mood and emotional well-being assessments during post-partum appointment. Collaborate and consult with other medical and non-medical personnel. Effectively monitor patients progress throughout treatment plan and care and provide continuous improvement on patient outcomes. Educate patients on importance of treatment plans and communicate side effects and risk of medications prescribed. Educate patients on disease prevention and reproductive health. Demonstrate effective and detailed written documentation skills. Conduct routine check-up appointments and maintain follow-up throughout patients care. Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication with patients. All other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education and Experience: Must be a Physician MD/DO, with a current license in The State of Texas. This license will be current (not revoked, suspended, or lapsed in registration), valid, and unencumbered (not subject to restriction pertaining to the scope, location, or type of practice ordinarily granted to other applicants for similar licenses in granting jurisdiction). Certification and Licensure: Current DEA licensure required Current CPR certification required Possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support Training Certification from the American Heart Association. Board Certified (or eligible) in the appropriate ABOG - ACGME, CRCPSC, or AOA. Work Environment: Environmentally controlled medical office environment. Work hours subject to office needs to ensure coverage during all hours of operation. Frequent exposure to bodily fluids. Possible exposure to infectious specimens, communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a laboratory and medical office environment. May wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves or a mask. Frequent interaction with a diverse population including team members, providers, patients, insurance companies and other members of the public. Requirements

  • Must be a Physician MD/DO, with a current license in The State of Texas.
