Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program
• Current state certification (CMA, CCMA, or RMA)

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with OB and pediatric patient care
• Prepare patients for exams and procedures
• Take and document vital signs and medical histories
• Perform clinical tasks within scope of certification
• Provide patient education and support to families
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
