About The Position

Black River Health has an immediate opening for an OB Lead. A lead coordinates and oversees the activities of team members to achieve goals that contribute to the growth of the organization. This opportunity is:

Full-time, 80 hours per pay period, Day Shift M-F with adjustments covering open shifts as needed, benefited

Requirements

• ADN required
• BSN preferred
• BSN required within 3 years of the date of hire
• NRP certification required
• EFM Certification (NCC) required within 1 year of hire
• Must have a valid Wisconsin RN License
• 1+ years of related work experience required
• 3+ years of related work experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises the activities of team members.
• Monitors the daily performance of team members to ensure duties are completed accurately, efficiently, and timely.
• Establishes work schedules.
• Monitors and controls overtime.
• Reviews and corrects timesheets, reviews and responds to time off requests, and coordinates payroll for team members.
• Serves as a backup for team members as needed due to staffing needs including vacations, illnesses, lunches, etc.
• Completes various audits to ensure nursing care delivery is meeting standards and expectations, including responsibility to audit and remediate patient charges to ensure accuracy.
