About The Position

Responsible for assisting in the care of patients under the direction of an RN and LPN.

Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent and exhibit proficiency in patient care and oral communication skills.
• Desirable characteristics include at least one year of experience as a Tech, preferably in the area of application.
• Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards under the supervision of an RN.
• Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.

Responsibilities

• Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired regarding personal, financial, medical or employment of patients, families, and employees of DRMC.
• Must follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients and DRMC.
• Must report hazards and initiate appropriate action.
• Must participate in safety instructional programs.
