About The Position

OB Hospitalist Physician – Denton, TX About Heartline Staffing Heartline Staffing partners directly with physician leadership teams and hospital systems nationwide. We represent select, relationship-based physician opportunities aligned with structured clinical programs and long-term workforce strategy. We are currently recruiting for an established, nationally supported OB Hospitalist program in Denton, TX. The Opportunity This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time. OB/GYN Hospitalists in this model serve as in-house clinical experts whose ability to manage obstetric emergencies significantly improves patient safety, outcomes, and satisfaction. We are seeking OB/GYN physicians with exceptional clinical judgment, strong communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to help shape the future of hospital-based obstetrics. Schedule & Work/Life Balance • Primarily 24-hour shifts • Full-time physicians typically work seven 24-hour shifts per month • Approximately 21 days off per month • No on-call duty • No office management responsibilities • Flexible scheduling model This structure allows physicians to maintain meaningful work/life balance while practicing high-impact obstetrics.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in California
  • Significant experience with obstetrical emergency care preferred
  • Strong relational and collaborative communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a structured hospital-based OB program

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care
  • Deliver direct care to high-risk obstetrical patients
  • Manage obstetrical emergencies with confidence and autonomy
  • Participate in daily Labor & Delivery board rounds
  • Serve as Safety Officer on Labor & Delivery
  • Collaborate with community OB/GYN physicians and midwives
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality care regardless of admitting provider
