This role is for a physician who wants to practice through providing compassionate, patient centered care. Patients are seen in the office and hospital rounding is required.

Requirements

• Understanding of physician practice environment.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of timely, accurate and detailed medical records using E Clinical Works (ECW), the Medical Center’s office based EMR is required.
• Prescribes medication or therapy when necessary.
• Recommends lifestyle changes as appropriate to improve quality of life.
• Explains all medical procedures thoroughly.
• Explains test results and provide patients with plan of care details.
• Consults with other doctors as appropriate about patient’s specific needs.
• Participates in tumor boards and multi-disciplinary clinics.
• Serves on hospital Medical Staff and related committees when requested.
• Seeks to improve patient satisfaction scores and team member goals.
• Participates in business development and marketing activities to grow the business.
