About The Position

Great opportunity for a Board Certified OBGYN to practice as an OB Hospitalist in west Houston. The position offers a minimum of 7 shifts per month with flexible scheduling, including some opportunities for 24-hour shifts. The role provides approximately 21-22 days off per month, with first assists available to support both OB hospitalists and private physicians. A strong back-up call system is in place, and the OB hospitalist will provide emergency, unassigned, OBED, and gynecological care, call coverage, and assist with the management of private MD patient emergencies. The operational teams are strong and fully support the success of the OB hospitalist, who will be part of a supportive, cohesive, and energetic team.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Minimum of 7 shifts per month

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a hospitalist role
• Familiarity with a Level II Trauma Center and Level III NICU

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency, unassigned, OBED, and gynecological care
• Call coverage and assist with management of private MD patient emergencies
• Support both OB hospitalists and private physicians as needed
• Participate in a strong back-up call system
• Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure success
