About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Residency Program Director - Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. Jacobi is a designated Baby-Friendly Hospital and has a 24-hour rooming-in for babies and special visiting hours for siblings. Jacobi performs on average 1,560 live births annually. Their onsite Breast Health Center has received a three-year/full accreditation designation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons and is dedicated to the prevention, care, and management of breast disease. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards. Requirements

  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of New York
  • Board certified in General Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Proven clinical and administrative leadership experience

Responsibilities

Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary: $320,000, based on 40-hour work week.
  • Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
