Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Residency Program Director - Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. Jacobi is a designated Baby-Friendly Hospital and has a 24-hour rooming-in for babies and special visiting hours for siblings. Jacobi performs on average 1,560 live births annually. Their onsite Breast Health Center has received a three-year/full accreditation designation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons and is dedicated to the prevention, care, and management of breast disease. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.   • Design, strategize, and launch a new OB/GYN residency program
  • Develop an educational curriculum
  • Monitor and follow up on residency performance indicators
  • Strengthen teaching skills of existing staff and prepare for transition to roles as educators
  • Foster the academic and professional development of residents
  • Manage clinical scheduling of residents and monitor residents’ duty hours, as required by ACGME regulation
  • Maintain current knowledge of and compliance with the ACGME Program Requirements
  • Oversee administration and educational activities
  • Direct supervision of all program residents and program staff
  • Provide direct patient care outside of resident program panels, as required
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of New York
  • Board certified in General Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Proven clinical and administrative leadership experience
  • Annual Base Salary: $320,000, based on 40-hour work week
  • Projected bonus of up to $40,000, contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets
  • 401(k) Company Contribution: Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings
