AdventHealth is seeking a dynamic and experienced, board-certified OB GYN physician to serve as Program Director of our Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at AdventHealth Tampa. The Program Director will have a strong passion for teaching and will develop a state-of-the-art program based at AdventHealth Tampa. The OB GYN residency is comprised of a total of 3 residents per year. The new program director would have the responsibility to develop and lead the program in compliance with ACGME guidelines. Candidate should be interested in and experienced with a residency program to enhance program visibility as well as increase the number of accepted residents each year. Duties would be split between dedicated administrative time, teaching residents/medical students, patient care and surgery. A minimum of five years' experience in Graduate Medical Education as an Associate Program Director or Program Director is required for consideration. The ideal candidate should bring a vision to increase academic activity including research, posters, and presentations. Dynamic communication skills and the ability to fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth are required.
