About The Position
The position is responsible for the direct provision of primary care medical services, meeting all established productivity expectations. The provider will conduct examinations and review appropriate laboratory, referral, and imaging results to determine diagnoses. Accurate documentation of visits using appropriate templates is expected, along with recording relevant data to attain a diagnosis. The role includes accountability for attaining budgeted visits, meeting clinical care measures, and locking records within a 72-hour window. The provider will focus on OB-GYN professional goals and provide comprehensive, continuous, and coordinated care, emphasizing the physical, emotional, and social health of women. Responsibilities also include advocating for access to care, understanding medical and surgical care for women, maintaining affiliation with local acute care facilities, and ensuring 24-hour on-call service for patients. Excellent customer service and care are paramount, with a focus on patient education and quality measures. The provider will participate in daily huddles, incorporate ancillary health team members in patient care, assist in performance improvement efforts, and engage in community events.
