About The Position

We are currently seeking both OB/GYN Generalist and OB Hospitalist Physicians to provide exceptional, evidence-based care in a supportive and collaborative environment. Role and Responsibilities As an integral member of our team, you will contribute to the comprehensive healthcare of women across their lifespan. For the Generalist: Provide full-scope obstetrical and gynecological care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including: ○ Routine gynecological exams, screenings, and preventative care. ○ Comprehensive prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care. ○ Performing major and minor gynecological procedures, which may include minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery. ○ Diagnosing and managing conditions affecting the female reproductive system (e.g., endometriosis, abnormal bleeding, infertility evaluation). For the Hospitalist: Focus on providing dedicated, in-house coverage for labor and delivery, including: ○ Managing obstetrical and gynecological emergencies. ○ Evaluating and treating patients in OB triage and the Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED). ○ Collaborating with private practice physicians for patient coverage and emergent care. ○ Serving as a maternal safety champion and leader on the labor and delivery unit. Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of a four-year residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
  • Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AOBOG). Candidates must attain Board Certification within the designated time frame.
  • Arizona Medical License: Must possess or be eligible for an unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Arizona.
  • Active and unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
  • Ability to secure and maintain full, unrestricted hospital privileges.
  • Current certification in relevant life support, such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience is preferred, especially for the Hospitalist role, but not required for highly motivated new graduates.
