About The Position

MUSC Health - Orangeburg is seeking an OB/GYN physician to join a well-established and collaborative practice in Orangeburg, SC. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside three full-time physicians and two Advanced Practice Providers in a group that averages approximately 500 deliveries annually. Each provider in the practice sees around 20 patients daily, ensuring a balanced workload and the ability to provide quality care to patients. The selected candidate will benefit from a partnership with an academic medical center, gaining access to advanced technologies and specialty diagnostic support, as well as a direct affiliation with clinical centers of excellence. The role requires the physician to be Board Certified or Board Eligible, with an assigned call schedule that follows a 1:4 call ratio. The practice is supported by seasoned labor and delivery (L&D) and operating room (OR) personnel, along with LPN support for each provider. The position is split evenly between obstetrics and gynecology, with a Level 2 nursery available for newborn care. The practice also offers OR block time with a da Vinci robot, enhancing surgical capabilities. The office is fully staffed and conveniently located near the hospital campus, which is essential for efficient patient care and collaboration.
