About The Position
Bay Area Living - OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner with Dignity Health Medical Group - Sequoia in Redwood City, CA Dignity Health Medical Group - Sequoia is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner to join our patient-centered organization in Redwood City, CA. Practice with autonomy, collaboration, and flexibility in one of the Bay Area's most desirable communities. We are affiliated with Sequoia Hospital , a 208-bed, not-for-profit community hospital recognized for excellence in heart care, surgical services, and patient safety. The hospital's award-winning Family Birth Center offers private labor, delivery, and recovery suites and includes a Level II NICU staffed in collaboration with Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford, providing advanced care for high-risk newborns--all within a supportive, patient-centered environment that fosters comprehensive OB care and collaboration in the heart of the Bay Area. Practice Structure: Clinic-based position - no hospital duties Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. No weekends and no call! Practice with autonomy while being well supported by a team of experienced physicians and staff Compensation and Benefits Guaranteed Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 + productivity incentives Sign-on Bonus: Up to $20,000 Relocation Assistance: Up to $20,000 100% Employer Paid Medical & Dental Benefits for provider and family Annual CME Allowance 401(k) with Employer Match Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible Employer
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current California Nurse Practitioner License and National Certification (WHNP or FNP)
- Minimum 1-2 years of OB/GYN or women's health experience preferred
- Current BLS and DEA certification (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in an outpatient setting
- Conduct well-woman exams, prenatal and postnatal visits, and contraceptive counseling
- Manage routine gynecologic conditions and perform in-office procedures as appropriate
- Collaborate closely with OB/GYN physicians and clinical team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to quality and safety standards
