About The Position

Our affiliate, Unified Women’s Healthcare of North Carolina, is looking for an Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Raleigh, NC. Join a compassionate group who provide a team approach to patient care. Every member of our staff is focused on making the patient experience in our office individualized and meaningful. About the Practice: The practice team has 10 physicians, 2 nurse practitioners, and 1 certified nurse midwife along with an excellent support staff. The practice has been serving women in the Raleigh Metro Area for over 40 years with a very strong patient base. Deliveries and GYN surgeries are done at the University of North Carolina Rex Hospital in Raleigh that is a world class facility with everything that is required to provide excellent women’s health care. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an established practice in a growing city with a great hospital system. This position is ideal for a physician who wants to focus their career on Labor & Delivery. Practice and Position Highlights: Flexible Nocturnist/Hospitalist position for someone who wants to work 7-12 shifts per month. Shifts are typically 14 hours. Looking for someone who can do 2 days of seeing patients in clinic but the practice can be flexible on these hours. Established practice group with a solid patient base that has been built up for over 40 years. Only required to see practice patients and hospital employed physicians will triage and see unassigned patients. Hospitalist will likely perform about 10-25 deliveries per month depending on the number of shifts worked. Supportive hospital with a long-standing relationship with the practice that provides subspecialty and hospitalist support, the da Vinci robotic system, and a high-level NICU. Competitive salary or hourly rate depending on whether working full-time or part-time hours. Malpractice insurance provided by the practice. Excellent Work/Life balance with having the majority of the week off.
