About The Position
Olmsted Medical Center is seeking a part-time (0.8 FTE) BC/BE OB/GYN Physician and Hospitalist/Laborist. The clinic will be based in Owatonna, MN for 20 hours per week (0.5 FTE) as the sole OB/GYN physician and the Laborist role will be at OMC's hospital in Rochester, MN for 26 shifts per year (0.3 FTE). Approximately 900 births per year. Supports the OB/GYN physician hospital call coverage and ongoing patient appointment access. Approximately two - twenty-four hours shifts per 4-week schedule (approx. 26 shifts per year). Dedicated C-Section Operating Room. Fourteen (14) LDRP rooms / six (6) post C-section/observations rooms with private baths. Level 2 Nursery. Clinic is a new facility in Owatonna which is connected to an ASC - Ambulatory Surgery Center along with a Family Medicine and Acute Care Clinic. The Rochester campus has six (6) other Physicians, a Urogynecologist, a Perinatologist, eight (8) Midwives, two (2) Nurse Practitioners, RN's, LPN's and Patient Service Representatives.
