About The Position

Seeking a Per Diem OB Hospitalist for our practice at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, CA. Responsibilities 24 Hour Inhouse Shifts 30 bed community Level III NICU Affiliated maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology practice support Practice attends about 30 deliveries a month Responsibilities include delivery attendance, OB triage, patient evaluation/management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring and ER coverage If you love a scenic view and hiking- Joshua Tree National Park is a jump and skip away Qualifications Must be Board Certified Active CA License Minimum of 1 years experience Benefits and Compensation Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice. We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position. Compensation: The pay for this position is $160.00/hour Our benefits include for Per Diem members: Employee Assistance PTO: Per diem team members are not eligible for PTO Holidays: Per Diem team members are not eligible for company holidays. Other compensation: Per Diem team members are not eligible for other compensation.
