About The Position

Looking for an experienced OB/GYN to join our OB/GYN Hospitalist team on a PRN basis. The position involves providing 24 hour in house care for OB & GYN emergencies in ER and labor & delivery, with 24 hour in house coverage by anesthesia and neonatology as well. Responsibilities include accepting and managing transfers from smaller hospitals in the region, providing intrapartum, antepartum, and postpartum care for unassigned patients, and being on backup call for MercyOne OB/GYN practice. The role also includes supervision of 1st and 2nd year Family Medicine residents and one FM-OB Fellow.

Requirements

• Experience as an OB/GYN physician.
• Ability to provide comprehensive care in a hospital setting.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in supervising medical residents.
• Familiarity with community health care practices.
