About The Position

The group provides patients a full range of services across 29 different specialties. All clinics have a lead RN, triage RN, LVNs and 1:1 Provider/MA ratio plus operations team. An integrated EMR system allows for seamless communication among group PCP's & specialists. The group has 200+ primary care providers throughout the county; built in referral system. Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women & Newborns is Southern California’s only standalone women’s hospital. SMB is part of Sharp HealthCare, is a 206 bed, not for profit hospital delivering more babies than any other hospital in California.

Requirements

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Comfortable covering a busy labor and delivery.
• Must have completed 10 cases of basic laparoscopy within the last 2 years to qualify for privileges.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in high-risk pregnancy management.
• Familiarity with advanced surgical techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients.
• Participate in day call, covering 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7pm.
• Manage a busy labor and delivery unit.
• Perform basic laparoscopy and manage ectopic pregnancies.
• Collaborate with a large OBGYN department and other specialists.
