As our OASIS & Coding Specialist, your expertise will directly influence quality outcomes, agency star ratings, and reimbursement accuracy, and regulatory compliance under the guidelines set by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). If you enjoy solving clinical puzzles, uncovering documentation gaps, and ensuring every patient’s story is accurately reflected in OASIS and ICD-10 coding, this is your opportunity to make a measurable impact every day.
Requirements
- 1+ year of home care experience, clinically or administratively
- Strong working knowledge of OASIS, CMS guidelines, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, PDFM, F2F, Home Health Plan of Cares, and ADR’s
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient in reading and interpreting documentation from hospitals and clinics
- Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Responsibilities
- Review OASIS and clinical documentation to ensure full compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, CMS, state regulations and agency standards
- Provide accurate ICD-10 codes
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities that impact quality metrics and agency performance
- Partner with field clinicians to strengthen documentation practices
- Reduce denial risk and audit exposure through proactive quality review
- Ensure timely completion and submission of all documentation according to regulations and agency standards
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
