We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Office 365 Administrator to join our Business Technology team. In this role, you will maintain Silgan's Office 365 environment, ensuring secure, efficient, and reliable collaboration across the organization. You will work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to manage user accounts, optimize system performance, and implement solutions that drive productivity and compliance.

  • Administer and support Office 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Manage user accounts, licenses, and security settings through Entra, Azure Portal, and Active Directory.
  • Administer the third-party Email Security Gateway (Mimecast).
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliability across all 365 applications.
  • Plan and execute Office 365 migrations, upgrades, and integrations with minimal disruption.
  • Implement and manage data lifecycle policies through Microsoft Purview.
  • Work with IT and business teams to identify requirements and deploy effective solutions.
  • Provide technical support and training for end users to enhance adoption and productivity.
  • Assist with cybersecurity initiatives including log review, incident remediation, and digital forensics.
  • Stay current on new Office 365 features, best practices, and technology improvements.
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience administering Office 365 environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Azure Portal, and Entra.
  • Hands-on experience with Office 365 migrations, integrations, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Active Directory administration.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while maintaining strong attention to detail.
