About the Site Spindle Hill Energy Center is a 314 MW 2x0 simple cycle power generation facility utilizing the General Electric 7FA combustion turbine platform. The facility is located near Fort Lupton, CO (approximately 30 miles north of Denver, CO). About the position The O&M Technician, I&C Maintenance, provides the organization with a knowledgeable, multiskilled troubleshooting expert who operates and maintains a simple cycle combustion turbine power plant. This position requires highly flexible individuals that can work various shift schedules in a team environment. Invenergy will train in the operations and maintenance fields to compliment the O&M Technician’s existing skill set. The I&C Maintenance Technician is responsible for execution and compliance with the corrective and preventive maintenance activities of instrumentation and control systems (I&C) and the correct operation of the I&C systems. Also responsible for compliance with maintenance programs, preparation of instrumentation, electricity, control and energy plans based on diagrams and electronic diagrams and basic hydraulic commands and control systems, pneumatic instrumentation, using standards and technical specifications and quality documents.
