About The Position

We are hiring an O&M and Commissioning Technician 2 to support the operation, maintenance, and commissioning of commercial solar systems. This role works alongside a lead technician to ensure systems are safely brought online and performing at peak efficiency. We’re a family-owned company that values teamwork, integrity, and a strong safety culture.

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial electrical experience (solar preferred)
• Journeyman electrician license (or equivalent)
• Experience with test equipment and electrical drawings
• OSHA 30 & NFPA 70E preferred
• Procore experience a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license (clean record)
• Willing to travel 100% and work outdoors
• Must pass background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and corrective service on solar systems
• Support commissioning (pre- and post-energization)
• Conduct punch list walks and inspections
• Document work performed and generate reports
• Assist with warranty, repower, and EPC project support as needed
