Basic Job Functions: The job of the Recorder is to ensure that correct pieces are tracked through the system and that the correct information is then able to be downloaded to ensure proper identification and tagging. The Recorder must be able to understand cut sheets, track specific orders and communicate with multiple people and departments to ensure orders are filled. The Recorder must also be able to perform additional tasks around the Finishing area during down time or down days and help participate in straightener roll changes. The Crew Recorder must be able to work in extreme temperatures, rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed and able to meet all physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations. Controlling Machines and Processes Using either control mechanisms or direct activity to operate machines and processes (not including computers or vehicles).
