We are looking to add a highly motivated individual to join our New York City and Brooklyn Operations Team. As an associate, you will work hand in hand with our City Operations and Onboarding Managers to oversee the day-to-day needs of our guests and homes. You will have high levels of autonomy and be trusted to navigate the city efficiently, frequently prioritizing and reprioritizing tasks while on the go. In this role, you will report to the City Operations Manager for day-to-day operational responsibilities for coordination of guests, needs, vendor coordination, and supporting new home onboardings. You will also work closely with our operations support specialists and in-market vendors including house cleaners, appliance repair technicians, handymen, and more. This new and pivotal role within Rove was brought about by explosive property growth within our NYC portfolio. Companywide, our team members are located all over the country, have diverse backgrounds, and come from many different industries. Everyone joined Rove because they're passionate about building a new standard for luxury hospitality in the modern and remote-first world we live in today as well as delivering high-quality standards to ensure that our guests love their experience while staying at our homes. Like many operations roles, there is no ‘typical day'. Your role will involve a wide range of activities tending to tasks assigned to you by the City Operations Manager as well as the remote support team helping our guests who are currently staying with us or arriving in the future. You will convene on most days at the office of our City Ops Manager. From there, you will be involved with activities that can include some of the following tasks: Fulfill a last-minute guest request to deliver some items that were expected in the home upon their arrival but that was not present. This could include purchasing and delivering items such as paper towels, trash bags, toiletries, pillows, or propane tanks. Visit, assess, and address property-specific maintenance issues upon guest departure which can include: replacing light bulbs, troubleshooting appliance issues, inspecting for furniture and property damage, and fixing minor items that can be repaired easily. Conduct periodic inspections of vacant homes for market-ready conditions. Stop by a property at a guest’s request to help troubleshoot the AC/Heat or an appliance within the home. In anticipation of guest departures, bring items from our central warehouse to the property after checkout time so that our cleaning team can properly replenish and restock consumable items for incoming guests, sometimes taking place just a few hours after the previous checkout. During emergencies, you may be called upon to provide support for lockouts, last-minute requests, and assisting with other emergency issues involving our guests. Perform other duties as assigned.
