About The Position
The Facilities Wastewater Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., is responsible for working in a team environment with parallel engineering subject areas, to analyze operational efficiency activities, identify cost effective sustaining and manufacturing improvements and provide design input on projects. This position requires a good understanding of innovative semiconductor process wastewater treatment, waste water reclaim, and zero liquid discharge wastewater plants. This position works directly with the operations team and technicians monitoring systems parameters via intelligent systems such as SPC/IOT and SCADA, ensuring they are running within specifications. The Facilities Wastewater Engineer must have the pertinent interpersonal skills that enable the coordination with other system owners, maintenance crews and construction trades to drive projects and daily tasks. Will be responsible for working with the vendors to develop operations and maintenance documentation, collaborate with vendors providing services, engineering for projects and changes and ensuring systems are operating within specifications. Provides design engineering support for existing system modification, upgrades and new equipment installations.
