Astro Mechanica is seeking an NX Expert with deep expertise in 5-axis programming, CAM workflows, and shop-floor training. Instruct the prototyping team in Siemens NX best practices, workflows, and toolpath strategies
Program initial parts (focus on 5-axis machining) to validate and optimize workflows
Configure NX software and post processors for our equipment
Work with the team to develop a digital tool library aligned with the physical tooling inventory
Provide fixture design, post-processor tuning, and workflow optimization guidance
Deliver hands-on training and mentoring to ensure the team can execute with precision and efficiency

Proven expertise in Siemens NX CAD/CAM, with strong focus on 5-axis programming
Experience configuring post processors and integrating with shop-floor equipment
Deep understanding of toolpath strategies, fixture design, and workflow optimization
Prior experience training and mentoring prototyping/machining teams
Ability to align digital environments with real-world tooling and machining practices
