About The Position

Geometric Solutions is seeking an NX CAM Expert to provide technical support and training related to Siemens NX CAM software. This role involves engaging with customers and the sales team to ensure a thorough understanding of customer needs, delivering product demonstrations, and optimizing CNC programs. The position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for remote work or commuting to the Troy office.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Siemens NX CAM software.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and toolpath generation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and provide exceptional customer support.
• Deep understanding of design and manufacturing processes.
• Expertise in Siemens NX CAM 3 and 5 axis.
• Extensive knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience in solving problems within a manufacturing plant setting.
• Work NC experience.
• 3 and 5-axis post-processor development experience.
• Familiarity with other Siemens products such as NX, Teamcenter, and Tecnomatix.
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Knowledge of discrete event simulation techniques.
• Understanding of robotic systems and automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support to the sales team and customers throughout the sales process.
• Develop and deliver engaging product demonstrations tailored to customer requirements.
• Help customers develop and optimize CNC programs using Siemens NX CAM software.
• Address and resolve issues related to CAM programming and machining processes.
• Design and deliver comprehensive training sessions for customers and internal teams.
• Draft detailed proposals and accurately estimate the time and resources required for project completion.
• Write detailed reports, communicate results, address issues, and provide actionable recommendations.
