Nuuly is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Engineering Intern to join their team this summer. As a part of URBN Inc., which includes well-known brands like Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, and Free People, Nuuly focuses on circular fashion by providing a subscription rental experience for women's apparel and a Thrift ecommerce platform. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with both front-end and back-end engineers, gaining hands-on experience with real-world projects and cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The internship program is designed to immerse candidates from across the country within various teams across URBN's portfolio of brands, allowing them to gain practical learning experiences in their chosen field. Interns will participate in a series of events focused on professional development, including exposure to senior leadership in small group settings, insights into company initiatives, and off-site field trips. For those who qualify, there will also be opportunities to interview for full-time positions at the conclusion of the internship. The URBN 2025 Summer Internship Program will run from June through August at the Home Office in Philadelphia, PA. Interns will assist engineers in developing applications, which includes writing tests, implementing application logic, and configuring deployments. They will collaborate with engineers to learn and utilize technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin/JVM, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), SQL, or Kafka. Additionally, interns will participate in code reviews and shadow senior engineers to gain insights into system design, architecture, and implementation strategies. This role is ideal for students currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, and it promises a summer full of learning and professional growth.
