About The Position

Under general supervision, assesses the nutritional problems and needs of patients, develops a nutrition treatment plan, and ensures the patient receives the necessary counseling and education regarding the specific dietary information. Consults with patients on both on-going and disease-specific nutrition needs. Provides follow-up as needed and files all necessary documentation related to treatment.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Nutrition required.
• Registered Dietician Mass. license (RD) required.
• Current registration with the American Dietetic Association.
• Three to five years of skills and experience in a medical environment and/or administering nutritional services required.

Nice To Haves

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain information clearly.
• Demonstrated team approach to work and experience partnering with other clinicians in providing care.
