About The Position

Requirements

• Valid Class 'C' Texas Driver's License.
• Knowledge of human nutrition principles and practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the operation of a clinic and/or program site of the WIC program.
• Plan and assist in the development of nutrition education programs.
• Conduct evaluations of nutritional status and formulate prevention and control programs.
• Provide advice on therapeutic diets prescribed by physicians.
• Offer nutritional consultation services in health unit activities.
• Assess patient eligibility for program services.
• Coordinate activities of assigned staff to maintain optimal workflow.
• Prepare materials for presentations and monitor caseload at assigned clinic.
