About The Position

High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum one year experience in claims processing or similar work environment, two years preferred. Technical degree or enrollment in technical/vocational program can substitute for years of experience. Ability to understand and effectively communicate concerning state, and federal child care food program policy. Strong communication, analytical and computation skills required. Able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. Must have a valid Florida driver's license or State of Florida ID card. This is a position of special trust which requires the employee to successfully meet Level 2 Background screening requirements. Able to perform in an empowered environment by working collaboratively with other professionals, personnel and direct service providers. Must be familiar and comfortable working with diverse populations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Enters claim, enrollment and eligibility data into database for monthly claim. Prepares and maintains required documents for assigned programs. Provides technical assistance as required to providers and Family Central, Inc. staff regarding assigned programs. Ensures that all required reports are completed accurately by assigned deadline. Prepares and mails monthly paper work to providers by assigned deadline. Assists with processing of monthly claims data for child care centers. Keeps manager and director informed of all tasks and projects. Assists manager and director with special projects. Participates in the organization of special events related to child care programs.
