About The Position
The El Dorado Union High School District is seeking potential substitute teachers to join our team. The District utilizes the El Dorado County Office of Education (EDCOE) substitute pool for hiring. Located in the Sierra Nevada foothills, the El Dorado Union High School District covers a vast area of 1,250 square miles, including a significant portion of El Dorado County's historic Gold Rush region. The District serves approximately 6,650 students in grades 9 through 12 across four comprehensive high schools, a charter school, a Regional Occupational Program, and a continuation school. The area is known for its agriculture, tourism, and light industry, and is served by several community colleges and universities.
