About The Position

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Nutrition Services warehouse worker is responsible for packing, sorting, and preparing the meals for shipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Packing, counting, sorting, prepping foods for shipment.
Ability to follow directions and self manage tasks.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to perform manual lifting of heavy items over 50 pounds and be skilled in the usage of 2-wheel dollies.
• Ability to work efficiently during inclement weather conditions
• WORK SCHEDULE: Work schedules may vary based on daily workload, but typical hours are Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM to 4-5PM.
• Ability to perform activities which require sustained concentration and attention.
• Ability to perform tasks that are repetitive
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with the usage of 2-wheel dollies
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and give consistent and accurate product
• Be required to work outdoors and in adverse weather conditions
