Responsibilities

• Perform area specific assigned duties to ensure food service to patients, employees, and visitors.
• Maintain area and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Observe all safety and sanitation policies and procedures as they relate to specific area.
• Provide quality customer service.
• Use proper technique for pulling and rotating stock and labeling and dating of foods.
• Maintain foods at proper temperatures to assure safety and freshness following H.A.C.C.P. principles.
• Prepare foods and set up service area as designed by timeline.
• Ensure areas are replenished with food when and where needed.
• Operate cash register according to departmental policies and procedures.
• Ensure accurate and efficient sales transactions.
• Perform minimal cooking methods to obtain a quality end product.
• Complete cleaning assignments when scheduled and/or as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation for production and all other dietary areas according to designated outlines.
• Stock inventory and fill dietary requisitions. Rotate stock and maintain order and cleanliness of dietary storage areas.
