About The Position

Fairview is looking for a Nutrition Services Aide at our UMMC - West Bank location, in Minneapolis, MN! This position is 21 hours bi-weekly, on evening shift. This position is not benefit eligible.

Prepares and portions food, assembles and disassembles patient trays in a safe manner. Serves customers, delivers, and retrieves patient trays.
Schedule
Week 1
Wednesday: 4:30PM - 8:00PM
Thursday: 4:30PM - 8:00PM
Week 2
Wednesday: 4:30PM - 8:00PM
Thursday: 4:30PM - 8:00PM
Saturday: 4:30PM - 8:00PM
Sunday: 4:30PM - 8:00PM

Requirements

• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language.
• Basic math skills.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated areas.
• Plates and serves food.
• Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operation procedures.
• Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedures.
• Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Serves customers in cafeterias, doctors dining rooms and other non-patient locations.
• Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.
