About The Position
The Nutrition Partner (Short Hour) position at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara, California, involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the proper setup and delivery of meals and supplies for both patient and non-patient food services. In this role, the Nutrition Partner will utilize handheld electronic devices to collect patient meal and snack choices according to diet orders, ensuring that all selections meet the specific needs of each patient. The position also involves preparing tray tickets for the tray-line, assembling patient meals accurately, and delivering meals and snacks to patients. The Nutrition Partner will be responsible for receiving and storing product deliveries, organizing stock according to defined procedures, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and pantry areas. Additionally, the Nutrition Partner will record important data such as food storage temperatures and meal counts, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The role requires effective communication with the patient care team and clinical dietitians to resolve any issues related to patient meals. The Nutrition Partner will also assist in training new employees and perform other related duties as required, contributing to a collaborative and efficient work environment.
