About The Position

Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for part-time Nutrition Operator positions at Mayo Clinic in Eau Claire, WI. The role involves securing patient meal selections and special requests via telephone or face-to-face interactions. The schedule is part-time with varying days and hours, including evenings, rotating weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Previous call center and/or patient experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper telephone etiquette and procedures with patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals.
• Offer alternatives to the menu as allowed on prescribed diets in accordance with food allergies and sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Be responsive to patients' needs at all times.
• Resolve patient concerns or complaints immediately and/or report needed assistance to a supervisor as appropriate.
• Comply with dietary restrictions on special, modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of diet order limitations.
• Interact with nursing to ensure patients' diet prescriptions are accurate and patients' food needs are met.
• Adhere to facility confidentiality and patients' rights policy as outlined in the facility's HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when assembling and distributing food supplies to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Complete all daily, weekly, or monthly reports as outlined in the corporate policies and procedures on a timely basis meeting all prescribed deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
