About The Position

TouchPoint is hiring immediately for part-time Nutrition Operator positions at My Michigan Medical Center. The role involves securing patient meal selections and special requests through telephone or face-to-face interactions. The position requires following proper etiquette, offering menu alternatives, and ensuring compliance with dietary restrictions. Responsibilities

• Secure patient meal selections and special requests via telephone or face-to-face interactions.
• Follow proper telephone etiquette and procedures with patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals.
• Offer alternatives to the menu as allowed on prescribed diets in accordance with food allergies and sensitivities.
• Be responsive to patients' needs at all times.
• Resolve patient concerns or complaints immediately and report needed assistance to a supervisor.
• Comply with dietary restrictions on special, modified diets.
• Interact with nursing to ensure patients' diet prescriptions are accurate.
• Adhere to facility confidentiality and patients' rights policy as outlined in HIPAA policies.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when assembling and distributing food supplies.
• Complete all daily, weekly, or monthly reports as outlined in corporate policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
