About The Position

As a Nutrition Lab Technician for Morrison Healthcare at Mayo Clinic, you will be working on a team that prepares formula and breast milk for neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adult populations. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a collaborative team environment and are detail oriented. We welcome people with all backgrounds to apply as training will be provided.

Prior education and/or experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with nurses, registered dietitians, and other care team members regarding breast milk and formula orders
Prepare breast milk and formula accurately using established recipes and sanitation procedures
Calculate breast milk recipes based on desired volume
Navigate computer software to print labels and patient lists
Identify and label formula and breast milk
Deliver prepared feedings throughout the hospital
Clean and sanitize equipment and workspaces
Receive formula and breast milk products and monitor inventory levels and expiration dates
