You will be working closely with the Registered Dietitian in Montclair State University’s dining servicer Gourmet Dining, developing skills and competencies that will help provide you with practical experience in preparing to apply to accredited Dietetic Internship programs. You will gain valuable experience in the following areas: foodservice operations, marketing and promoting of health promoting foods, nutrition education campaigns, menu planning, food safety, and planning and implementation of community nutrition focused events. This internship involves hands on experience in the world of higher education with a focus on nutrition which will guide you to set the stage for your personal success in a career in nutrition.
