This is a hybrid, 20-hour-per-week, six-month internship, based in Burlington, MA with hiring planned to begin immediately rather than this summer Our Nutrition Department plays a vital role in ensuring our products not only meet nutritional standards but truly deliver on their promises—backed by rigorous testing and research to validate claims and evaluate product performance. We are seeking a highly motivated Nutrition Intern to join our team. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to meaningful scientific work that supports our product development, research, and innovation efforts. You'll work closely with experienced professionals and gain valuable insights into the pet food industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in a scientific discipline; Animal Science or Food Science strongly preferred
- Strong passion for scientific research and animal health
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other basic data entry tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Responsibilities
- provide general support to the Nutrition team through a mix of administrative tasks and data management projects
- organizing documentation
- assisting with data entry and tracking
- preparing forms and reports
- supporting internal processes
- contribute to ongoing projects aimed at improving data systems
- identifying trends in nutritional information
- supporting research and product development efforts
