About The Position

The Woodlands Hospital is a primary and secondary care hospital serving North Harris and Montgomery counties. Clinical services include cardiovascular services, diagnostic imaging, women's services (digital mammography and bone density studies), neurosciences, pediatric care (Newborn and Level II nurseries), and surgery pathology and pulmonary services and sleep disorders. Clinical affiliations include The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center's Radiation Treatment Center and Texas Children's Hospital. As our Nutrition Assistant I, you will help with back end duties including operation of commercial dishwasher and maintaining a clean environment. Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A Food Handlers Permit is required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all food handling areas are sanitized and disinfected for the safety of employees, patients, and guests.
• Exhibits high degree knowledge in food preparation and food production.
• Accurately portions meals and beverages including attention to detail concerning dietary restrictions, while ensuring an aesthetically pleasing presentation.
• Supports team members in all areas of food services including cashier, stocking, cleaning, tray service, dishwashing, food storage, etc.
