Part-Time Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered
About The Position
RD Nutrition Consultants is seeking a qualified Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered (NDTR) to provide nutrition support services in partnership with healthcare facilities. This is a part-time position (16–24 hours per week) supporting clinical and patient-centered nutrition care. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in healthcare environments under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian. Position Overview Schedule: Part-time, approximately 16–24 hours per week Setting: Healthcare / clinical nutrition services Compensation: $20.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience Additional Benefits: Paid travel time and mileage reimbursement
Requirements
- Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered (NDTR) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Knowledge of basic nutrition principles and therapeutic diets
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote clinical team
- Reliable transportation required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in healthcare, long-term care, or clinical nutrition preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide nutrition support services under the direction and supervision of a Registered Dietitian
- Assist with nutrition screenings, documentation, and follow-up
- Support patient meal planning and nutrition care coordination
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and food service staff
- Travel to assigned facilities as part of routine job duties
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company and facility standards
- Perform other related duties as assigned
