About The Position

Position Overview: Perform animal mortality, manure, and water system operational tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Complete schedule projects to timeline and quality standards of company. Effectively work with production and maintenance staff to maximize quality of work and productivity of departments. You will get a chance to work with a range of farm workers, maintenance and reliability techs, and agronomy professionals". Hiring Manager What You Will Do: Daily pick up and removal of animal mortalities according to biosecurity protocols. Daily operation and of mortality disposal system or incinerator Create and turn compost windrows and dispose of completed material Complete required animal mortality system monitoring forms. Complete required manure system monitoring forms, monitor manure storage levels and lift stage operations, and operate manure separator Remove manure solids from manure separator and deliver to the fields. Operate wheel loader, tractor, skid-steer, manure application equipment (liquid and solid), and other equipment as needed with accuracy. Cleaning of equipment including but not limited to power washing Monitor water system operations Repair equipment specific to CFF and its producers Secondary functions: Perform scheduled repairs to company quality and cost standards. Provide service and labor for farm group Execute maintenance procedures on animal mortality system (wheel loaders, tractors, skid-steer, trailers, incinerator, etc) and manure systems Maintain and properly store equipment not in use. Site care: Landscape maintenance, snow removal, lawn mowing

Requirements

  • Equipment operations experience, including skid loaders and large equipment/systems; prefer some electrical and/or livestock systems experience.
  • Strong communication skills in English, Bilingual in Spanish-English a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to monitor, document, and report daily
