About The Position

Under general supervision, process communication from the patient care areas and provide patients with ordered meal requests; must have the ability to function in all aspects of the following positions -NSA II and NSA I position; coordinate department activities and support all services, supervision of other team members within the department, communicate efficiently with management, and basic documentation within the diet office. Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of management.

Requirements

• At least 1 year prep experience with various aspects of this job.
• Ability to read & follow both oral & written instructions; must follow established policies.
• Must have Excellent Customer Service Skills.
• Serv Safe Certified- must become certified by the end of the first year of employment.
• Basic knowledge of other positions within the department.

Responsibilities

• Process patient meal requests promptly and accurately, coordinating activities within the Nutritional Services Department to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Provide supervision to team members, support departmental activities, and communicate effectively with management to facilitate smooth operations.
• Maintain basic documentation within the diet office and communicate efficiently with management regarding updates and recommendations.
• Perform tasks across NSA II and NSA I positions as needed and undertake additional duties as assigned by management to meet departmental needs.
