UW Medicine has outstanding opportunities for Nurse Technicians at our UW Medical Center-Montlake & UW Medical Center-Northwest locations. Clinical areas requesting Nurse Techs could include med-surg, oncology, neurology, behavioral health, surgical and ICU. START DATE/ORIENTATION: February 5th, 2026 PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to assist in providing direct care, collect and document data gathered during the delivery of care and communicate findings and changes in patient condition to the supervising RN. Collaborate with the other disciplines as appropriate to provide continuity of patient care from admission to discharge. Perform a variety of tasks including transporting patients, supplies and specimens; ordering and stocking supplies; and ensuring patient safety through monitoring and assessment, safe patient mobilization and hygiene activities. ORIENTATION SCHEDULE: If you are offered a position, there is a required initial two session class orientation.
