Requirements

• High school or equivalent plus trade or vocational school in medical/surgical patient care.
• months patient care experience required.

• One to three years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Nursing Tech II performs advanced patient care procedures (such as, initiation of intravenous therapy, splinting/casting, suturing, and simple patient teaching) under the director of a licensed Nurse or Provider and/or performs advanced support-procedures for the operation of the Emergency Department.
• Coordinates equipment and/or supply systems.
• Performs sterile processing procedures.
